When should I install my eSIM?
Before you leave, while you’re connected to the internet. Your plan’s validity only starts when the eSIM connects to a network in the country you’re visiting.
Can I use it on a dual-SIM phone?
Yes, just turn one of your SIMs off while you use it. Most phones today can hold several eSIMs, but now and then you may need to delete an old one you no longer use.
What if it doesn’t connect when I arrive?
The eSIM needs data roaming turned on to connect, so check that first. Then make sure the eSIM is the line chosen for data: under Mobile data on Android, or Cellular Data on iPhone.
Can I buy an eSIM for someone else?
Yes. You can send an eSIM you’ve bought to family and friends, or order several and send one to each person in your travel group.
